I’m Rachel from Knitted Nerdiness. Knitted Nerdiness is the premier source for unique, handmade knits inspired by geek culture. I offer a variety of items inspired by a variety of fandoms, including Harry Potter, Doctor Who, Star Wars, and more. I also love doing custom items!
 I have always enjoyed knitting, and I am a self proclaimed geek. My grandma taught me how to knit, and I have knitted on and off since then. On my 23rd birthday, I went to a Boston Bruins hockey game, and wanted a scarf. But I couldn't afford a licensed one, so I made my own. Then I wanted a Ravenclaw infinity scarf, so I made one. I got complemented on it, which sparked an idea. Do other geeks want geeky knits? I knitted up another Ravenclaw infinity scarf, and the rest is history.
I enjoy coming up with new, interesting designs for my shop. It gets kind of boring to see the same things in every shop. So I like to offer some variety. I offer subtly-geeky items, as well as obviously geeky items. Even non-geeks should be able to wear Knitted Nerdiness! Let your geek flag fly!

Meet Bera!
I'm an industrial designer from Turkey, Istanbul. A year ago I decided to produce a coaster set just for myself and did some graphic design works. I also like superhero movies, like Batman, Thor, Iron Man and of course Avengers. Thus, I decided to do a 'superhero coaster set' which only includes 5 heroes in the beginning, Batman, Spiderman, Darth Vader, Stormtrooper and Iron Man. After 6 months I decided to put them on etsy and my shop became alive. Later on, superhero coaster set was really appreciated and I did other series like Batman, Angry Birds etc. While doing these, I also designed custom-made t-shirts and plastic jewelries.

My favourite movie is Batman: Begins. I've a special interest in Batman, as you can see at my shop. I like country music and soft rock and reading spy novels, especially Agatha Christie. You can find Bera on Etsy, Facebook, Google+, and Twitter.
